  1. Remove the selectable ride switch from the instrument panel. Refer to Electronic Suspension Switch Replacement .
  2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  3. Ensure the selectable ride switch is in the ON, (firm) position.
  4. Connect a test lamp (back probe), between the selectable ride switch output circuit and a good ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Connect a test lamp (back probe), between fused ignition positive voltage circuit and a good to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

  1. Turn OFF the ignition .
  2. Disconnect the selectable ride switch.
  3. Connect a test lamp between the switch ground circuit and a battery positive voltage (B+) circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Repair the open in the fused ignition positive voltage circuit between the switch and Body Wiring Harness Junction Block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair the open switch ground circuit. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
