The key is double sided and reversible. The key has 10 cut positions (1) with 4 different depths (2).
The master key may contain a transponder (3). This key will operate all of the locks on the vehicle (2004 and newer).
You can obtain the key code from the 5-digit number on the key tag that accompanies the original master key. The 5-digit key code cross references to the cut and tumbler sequence. The key s has 10 key cut positions (1) and 4 key cut depths (2). Key cut positions are numbered 1-10, counting from the head of the key to the tip. The key cut depths are 1 through 4, cut depth number 4 is the deepest cut (2004 and newer).
Ensure both sides of the key are cut correctly by inserting the key, rotating the cylinder, removing the key, inserting the key again 180 degrees (opposite) and rotating the lock cylinder again.
