Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle prior to using this diagnostic procedure.
The electronic suspension control (ESC) module performs internal checks on the software calibrations contained in the electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) to ensure valid operation.
The ignition is ON.
The ESC module detects internal problems with software calibrations.
• | ESC is disabled. |
• | SERVICE SUSPENSION SYSTEM and SPEED LIMITED message is displayed in the driver information center (DIC). |
The condition is no longer present.
Verify that DTC C0551 is not set.
⇒ | If the DTC is set, program the electronic suspension control module. If the DTC resets, replace the ESCM. |
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the diagnostic procedure.
