Some technicians may find Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1287 -- Amplifier Control Signal Circuit stored in history.
A software anomaly has been detected, which sets this code in history. The software anomaly does not create any component concerns.
DO NOT REPLACE THE RADIO.
DO NOT REPLACE ANY AMPLIFIER COMPONENTS.
If the radio is operating properly, the DTC may be stored due to a software anomaly and no repairs are necessary. If there is a customer concern with the operation of the radio and a current DTC B1287 is set, follow the normal diagnostic procedures for DTC B1287.
