The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may state that the articulating running boards are inoperative or inoperative at times. After normal diagnosis, you will notice some of the following current or history codes: P0090 P00C0 P00C1 P00C1 P0085 P0085 set in the Assist Step Module. These codes are inaccurate, and you will not find them in SI.
Recommendation/Instructions:
The inaccurate codes displayed are due to Tech 2 software concern. If you experience an Articulating Running Board concern with one of the " P " codes listed above, Use the following conversion table to determine which description and DTC to look for in SI, based on which " P " code is displayed. The Tech 2 software should be corrected with the April 26, 2007 Tis- 2- Web release.
