The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some technicians may find that the MDI Or Techline computer terminal locks up during SPS Sequential Programming.
Recommendation/Instructions:
If you experience this concern, record the last module that was programmed successfully and what module locked up during programming. Then contact Techline Customer support @ 1-800-828-6860 for additional programming assistance.
Note: If you were not continuously monitoring the TIS-2-Web application during the programming process and a module locked up, a summary screen will usually be displayed with a list of modules that were or were not programmed successfully.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
