  1. Slowly rotate the transmission to a vertical position to drain the transmission fluid out of the extension housing.

  2. Remove the transmission case oil pan bolts (173).
  3. Remove the transmission case oil pan (172).
  4. Remove the transmission case oil pan gasket (170).
  5. Remove the oil pan magnet (171).
