J 21366 Converter Housing Strap

1. Rotate the transmission so the converter housing is facing up.
2. Install the torque converter (201) onto the transmission. Rotate the torque converter to completely engage the torque converter with the transmission oil pump and the TCC hub. The torque converter nut will be 21.2-23.2 mm (0.83-0.91 in) below the converter housing mating surface when the converter assembly is properly installed.
3. Install J 21366 in order to hold the torque converter while moving the transmission assembly around. Remove J 21366 prior to installing the transmission into the vehicle.
