For 1990-2009 cars only
- Remove the detent valve retaining pin (112) using diagonal pliers. Insert a wire into the center of the spring pin to prevent collapsing.
- Remove the detent valve sleeve (111) and seal (113).
- Remove the detent valve (110).
- Remove the detent valve spring (108).
- Inspect the detent valve sleeve for:
