    Object Number: 181663 Size: SH
  1. Install the detent valve spring (108) and spring seat (109) over the detent cable.
  2. Connect the detent cable to the detent valve (110).

    3. Object Number: 181664 Size: SH
  3. Install a new detent valve sleeve seal (113).
  4. Install the detent valve (110) into the sleeve (111). Lubricate the valve and sleeve with DEXRON®III transmission fluid.

    5. Object Number: 181665 Size: SH
  5. Install the detent sleeve assembly (111) into the transmission case. The slots face the oil pan mating surface.
  6. Install the detent valve retaining pin (112).
