For 1990-2009 cars only
- Remove the wave plate (232).
- Remove the reverse clutch plates (233) and (234).
- Remove the reverse clutch pressure plate (236).
- Inspect the reverse clutch Composition plates (234) for damaged tangs, delamination and excessive wear.
- Inspect the steel plates (233) for worn lugs and heat damage.
Important: If the clutch plates are not being replaced, they must be installed in their original position.
