Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 177419 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the upper intake manifold cover.
  3. Remove the vacuum hose.
  4. Remove the E-clip retainer from the wastegate lever pin.
  5. Remove the wastegate mounting bolts from the turbocharger.

  6. Remove the wastegate assembly from the turbocharger.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 177446 Size: SH
  1. Install the wastegate to the turbocharger.

    2. Object Number: 177419 Size: SH
  2. Install the wastegate mounting bolts to the turbocharger.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).

  3. Install the E-clip to the wastegate lever pin.
  4. Install the vacuum hose.
  5. Install the upper intake manifold cover.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to General Information
