Tools Required

1. Remove the differential from the rear axle housing. Refer to Differential Replacement.




Important: The jaws of the J 22888-20A must pull from beneath the bearing cone and not the cage.

2. Remove the differential side bearings, using theJ 8107-2 and theJ 22888-20A .

Tools Required

1. Install the differential side bearings, using J 25299 , J 8092 , and J 8107-2 .

•	In order to protect the differential case, place J 8107-2 in the case on the side opposite the bearing installation.

•	Drive the bearing onto the case using J 25299 and J 8092 .

2. Install the differential. Refer to Differential Replacement.
