Cruise Control Servo Replacement Model

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 347509  Size: SH
  1. Remove the cruise control servo cover (1).

  2. Object Number: 347503  Size: SH
  3. Loosen the accelerator control cable locknut (2).
  4. Remove the following components from the servo:
  5. • The servo cable bracket screw (5)
    • The servo cable (4)
    • The accelerator control cable (3)

  6. Disconnect the servo electrical connector (3).
  7. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
  8. • The 3 servo mounting bolts (1)
    • The servo with the bracket attached
  9. Remove the following components from the cruise control bracket:
  10. • The 4 screws
    • The servo

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 326408  Size: SH
  1. Install the servo to the bracket. Secure the servo with the 4 screws.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the servo and bracket to the vehicle. Secure the servo and bracket with the 3 bolts (1).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the servo mounting bolts to XX N·m (XX lb in).

  5. Connect the servo electrical connector (3).

  7. Install the servo cable (4) to the servo lever (1) and bracket. Secure the servo cable bracket with the one screw.
  8. Install the accelerator control cable to the servo lever (1) and bracket.
  9. Adjust the cable adjusting locknut to allow slight freedom of movement between the accelerator control cable and the servo lever.
  10. Secure the accelerator cable locknut (2).
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the accelerator cable adjusting locknut to XX N·m (XX lb in).

  12. Install the servo cover (1).
