Front Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement Model

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 643508  Size: SH
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the push-in retainer from the front fender liner.
  3. Remove the lower fascia support. Refer to Fascia Support Replacement in Bumpers.

  4. Object Number: 643511  Size: SH
  5. Remove the screws to the front fender liner at the front of the front bumper fascia.

  6. Object Number: 643519  Size: SH
  7. Remove the spring clips from the fascia extension.

  8. Object Number: 643520  Size: SH
  9. Remove the fascia extension.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 643520  Size: SH
  1. Install the fascia extension to the fascia by feeding the tabs of the extension through the fascia starting with the center tab and working outward.

  2. Object Number: 643519  Size: SH
  3. Install the spring clips starting at the center of the fascia extension and working outward.

  4. Object Number: 643511  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the screws to the front fender liner at the front of the front bumper fascia.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the front fender liner to fascia screws to X N·m (XX lb in).

  7. Install the push-in retainer to the front fender liner.
  8. Install the lower fascia support. Refer to Fascia Support Replacement in Bumpers.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
