Rear Bumper Adjustment Model

  1. Remove the tail lamp assemblies. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  2. Remove the rear compartment rear trim panel. Refer to Compartment Trim Panel Replacement -- Rear in Body Rear End.

    3. Object Number: 372792 Size: SH
  3. Loosen the nuts that retain the upper fascia.
  4. Loosen the bolts (2) that retain the impact bar to the energy absorbers (1).

    5. Object Number: 372792 Size: SH
  5. Adjust the upper fascia (3) to the rear quarters.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to XX N·m (XX lb in).

  6. Align the lower fascia/impact bar (1) as needed.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to XX N·m (XX lb ft).

  7. Install the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Compartment Trim Panel Replacement -- Rear in Body Rear End.
  8. Install the tail lamp assemblies. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
