Removal Procedure

    Notice: Be sure to follow the service procedure when removing the air inlet grille panel. Failure to follow service procedure may cause damage to the air inlet grille panel or the windshield.

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the windshield wiper arms.
  3. Remove the hood seal, rear. Refer to

  4. Remove the push in retainers (2) retaining the air inlet grill panels (1) to the vehicle.
  5. Disconnect the washer hose connector.
  6. Push the washer hose grommet into the plenum area.

    7. Important: Remove any debris, so that nothing falls into the cowl upon remal of the air inlet grille panel.

  7. Remove the air inlet grille panel from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the washer hose and the washer hose grommet through the hole in the plenum area.
  2. Press the washer hose grommet into position and ensure that it is fully seated.

  3. Install the air inlet grille panels (1) to the vehicle.
  4. Connect the washer hose connector.
  5. Install the push in retainers (2) to retain the air inlet grille panel (1) to the body.
  6. Install the windshield wiper arms.
  7. Close the hood.
