Perform the following steps in order to adjust the window panel flush to the quarter outer panel:

1. Open the window panel.
2. Remove the rear compartment trim. Refer to [ADD LINK].
3. Loosen the fasteners that secure the lift window (1) to the body (3).
4. Close the window panel.
5. Center the window in the opening.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

6. Tighten the bolts.
7. Adjust the window panel flush to the quarter trim finish panel by loosening or tightening the bumpers (2) as needed.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft.

8. Adjust the latch if necessary. Refer to [ADD LINK].
