Removal Procedure

  1. Open the window panel.
  2. Remove the rear compartment trim, as needed. Refer to [ADD LINK] in Interior Trim.

  3. Object Number: 330424  Size: MH
  4. Remove the secondary lock retainer from the actuator (2).
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the actuator (2).
  6. Remove the fastener (1) securing the actuator (2) to the latch (8).
  7. Remove the actuator (2) from the latch (8).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 330424  Size: MH
  1. Install the actuator (2) to the latch (8).
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the fasteners (1) in order to solove the actuator (2) to the latch (8)..
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical connector (3) to the actuator (2).
  6. Install the secondary lock retainer to the actuator (2).
  7. Install the rear compartment trim. Refer to [ADD LINK] in Interior Trim..
