Removal Procedure

    Notice: When removing body panels, apply tape to corners of panel and adjacent surfaces to help prevent paint damage.

  1. Remove the wheelhouse filler panel and the bolts. [IF NECESSARY]
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sidemarker lamp.

    3. Object Number: 277609 Size: SH
  3. Remove the fasteners, securing the fender to the side panel. [SEPARATE GRAPHICS RECOMMENDED]
  4. Remove the fasteners (5, 8) securing the lower portion of the fender (4) to the side panel.
  5. Remove the fasteners (6,7) securing the fender (4) to the fender braces (10).
  6. Remove the fenders (1) securing the fender to the side panel.
  7. Remove the fender from the side panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 277609 Size: SH
  1. With the aid of an assistant, install the fender (4) to the side panel.
  2. Install the fasteners (1), in order to secure the fender to the side panel and hand tighten.
  3. Install the fasteners (5, 8) in order to secure the lower portion of the fender to the side panel and hand tighten.
  4. Install the fasteners (6, 7) in order to secure the fender braces (10) to the fender.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten all of the fender fasteners to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  5. Install the wheelhouse filler panel with the bolts.
  6. Connect the electrical connector to the sidemarker.
