Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear corner upper garnish molding. [ADD LINK].
  2. Remove the body side rear upper garnish molding. [ADD LINK].
  3. Remove the rear quarter window. Refer to Quarter Window Replacement .

  4. Object Number: 320147  Size: SH
  5. Remove the pin from the latch bearing.
  6. Remove the bearing bushing retaining screw.

  7. Object Number: 320149  Size: SH
  8. Disconnect the electrical connector from the actuator.
  9. Remove the power rear quarter window actuator retaining fasteners.
  10. Remove the actuator from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 320149  Size: SH
  1. Install the actuator to the vehicle.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the power rear quarter window actuator retaining fasteners.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical connector to the actuator.

  6. Object Number: 320147  Size: SH
  7. Install the bearing bushing fastener.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the bearing bushing retaining fastener to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  9. Install the pin to the latch bearing.
  10. Install the rear corner upper garnish molding. [ADD LINK].
  11. Install the bodyside rear upper garnish molding. [ADD LINK].
