J 41712 Oil Pressure Switch Socket


    Object Number: 182855  Size: SH

    Caution: Wear safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.

  1. Remove the transmission locator pins (if required).

  2. Object Number: 521820  Size: SH
  3. Remove the S type pin (crankshaft rear oil seal housing), if required.

  4. Object Number: 182854  Size: SH
  5. Remove the expansion cup plug (camshaft rear bearing hole).

  6. Object Number: 333649  Size: SH
  7. Remove the engine oil pressure gage sensor using the J 41712 .

  8. Object Number: 333652  Size: SH
  9. Remove the engine oil pressure sensor gage sensor fitting.

  10. Object Number: 69847  Size: SH
  11. Remove the square socket plugs (engine block oil gallery) from the rear of the engine block.

  12. Object Number: 182841  Size: SH
  13. Remove the left side rear and left rear top engine block oil gallery plugs.

  14. Object Number: 182838  Size: SH
  15. Remove the engine block oil gallery plugs (front) from the engine block and discard.
  16. Insert a 3/8 x 26 inch rod, or equivalent, into the rear oil gallery holes in order to drive out the front engine block oil gallery plugs.

  17. Remove the engine block core hole plugs.
  18. 9.1. Use a suitable tool in order to drive the engine block core hole plug into the coolant jacket.
    9.2. Use a suitable tool in order to pull the engine block core hole plug from the coolant jacket.
    9.3. Discard the engine block core hole plug.
