Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 763438 Size: SH
  1. Remove the engine cover.
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct to throttle body retaining fastener.
  3. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct from the throttle body assembly.
  4. Disconnect the MAF and IAT electrical connectors.
  5. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct from the air cleaner assembly.
  6. Remove air cleaner outlet duct.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 763438 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the air cleaner outlet duct on the throttle body assembly and tighten the retaining fastener.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the fastener 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  2. Connect the MAF and IAT electrical connectors.
  3. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the air cleaner assembly.
  4. Install the engine cover.
