J 44866 Support Bushing Remover and Installer

Important: Remove bushing only if damaged or worn out.

1. Install the J 44866 as shown. Tighten the nuts to force out the bushing.




Important: The bushing has two relief slots (1) these must be in the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions when installed for the V6, and in the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions when installed for the L4.

2. Install the J 44866 as shown. Tighten the nuts to force the bushing in.

Differential Housing Support Bushing Replacement Steel Cage Bushing

1. Remove the differential assembly. Refer to Differential Replacement .
2. Remove the housing support bushing.

1. Install the housing support bushing.
2. Install the differential assembly. Refer to Differential Replacement .

Differential Housing Support Bushing Replacement Solid Rubber Bushing

Tools Required

J 45007 Bushing Remover/Installer

1. Remove the differential assembly. Refer to Differential Replacement.
2. Using the J 45007 , remove the housing support bushing.

1. Using the J 45007 , install the housing support bushing.
2. Install the differential assembly. Refer to Differential Replacement.
