J-38125 Terminal Repair Kit

Replacement Procedure


    Object Number: 821020  Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
  2. Remove the right instrument panel (I/P) insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Remove the I/P compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  4. Remove the I/P compartment.

  6. Disengage the fuse block retainers from the I/P trim pad.

  7. Object Number: 821023  Size: SH
  8. Disconnect the wiring harness retainer (1) from the I/P trim pad (2).

  9. Object Number: 821015  Size: SH
  10. Remove the fuse block.

  11. Object Number: 821011  Size: SH
  12. Remove the fuses and the circuit breakers from the fuse block. Refer to Electrical Center Identification Views .

  13. Object Number: 821007  Size: SH
  14. Using the correct tool from J-38125 , remove the wires from the fuse block. Refer to Electrical Center Identification Views .
  15. Remove the fuse block.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 821007  Size: SH
  1. Install the wires to the fuse block. Refer to Electrical Center Identification Views .

  2. Object Number: 821011  Size: SH
  3. Install the fuses and the circuit breakers to the fuse block. Refer to Electrical Center Identification Views .

  4. Object Number: 821015  Size: SH
  5. Position the fuse block to the I/P.

  6. Object Number: 821023  Size: SH
  7. Connect the wiring harness retainer (1) to the I/P trim pad (2).

  8. Object Number: 821016  Size: SH
  9. Engage the fuse block retainers to the I/P trim pad.

  10. Object Number: 821020  Size: SH
  11. Install the I/P compartment.
  12. Install the I/P compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  13. Install the right I/P insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  14. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
