Terminal Repair Kit
Replacement Procedure
Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
in Engine Electrical.
Remove the right instrument panel (I/P) insulator. Refer to
Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side
in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
Remove the I/P compartment door. Refer to
Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement
in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
Remove the I/P compartment.
Disengage the fuse block retainers from the I/P trim pad.
Disconnect the wiring harness retainer (1) from the I/P trim pad (2).
Remove the fuse block.
Remove the fuses and the circuit breakers from the fuse block. Refer to
Electrical Center Identification Views
.
Using the correct tool from
J-38125
, remove the wires from the fuse block. Refer to
Electrical Center Identification Views
.
Remove the fuse block.
Installation Procedure
Install the wires to the fuse block. Refer to
Electrical Center Identification Views
.
Install the fuses and the circuit breakers to the fuse block. Refer to
Electrical Center Identification Views
.
Position the fuse block to the I/P.
Connect the wiring harness retainer (1) to the I/P trim pad (2).
Engage the fuse block retainers to the I/P trim pad.
Install the I/P compartment.
Install the I/P compartment door. Refer to
Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement
in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
Install the right I/P insulator. Refer to
Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side
in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
in Engine Electrical.
