Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 704664  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear shelf panel. Refer to Rear Shelf Carrier Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the navigation processor electrical connector (1).
  3. Disconnect the coaxial cables from the navigation processor.

  4. Object Number: 704670  Size: SH
  5. Remove the nuts (2) securing the navigation processor (1) to the rear shelf.
  6. Remove the navigation processor (1) from the rear shelf.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the navigation processor (1) to the rear shelf.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the nuts securing the navigation processor to the rear shelf.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 9 N·m 80 lb in.

  5. Connect the electrical connector (1).
  6. Connect the coaxial cables to the tuner assembly.
  7. Reinstall the rear shelf. Refer to Rear Shelf Carrier Replacement .
