Scan Tool Output Control

Description

AFO Signal Enable

--

Controls the AFO enable signal command. The commanded states include None, ON, and OFF. When commanded ON or OFF, the system remains in the commanded state until cancelled by the scan tool.

Fuel Gauge

--

Controls the fuel gage. The PCM sends a serial data message to the IPC in order to control the gage. The gage will display full when commanded ON, and empty when commanded OFF.

Fuel Mode Indicator Lamp

Controls the fuel mode indicator lamp (FIL). The commanded states include None, ON, and OFF. When commanded ON or OFF, the system remains in the commanded state until cancelled by the scan tool.

High Pressure Lock-Off

--

Controls the high pressure lock-off (HPL). The commanded states include None, ON, and OFF. When commanded ON or OFF, the system remains in the commanded state until cancelled by the scan tool. While operating on CNG the HPL is commanded ON.

Low Pressure Lock-Off

--

Controls the low pressure lock-off (LPL). The commanded states include None, ON, and OFF. When commanded ON or OFF, the system remains in the commanded state until cancelled by the scan tool. While operating on CNG the LPL is commanded ON.

Forced Fuel Switch over

--

Controls which fuel system the vehicle is operating on. Fuel system can be switched from CNG to Gasoline, and Gasoline to CNG. A switch over from Gasoline to CNG will be disabled if the pressure in the CNG fuel tank is below 896 kPa (130 psi).
