Taillamps, Turn Signal, Stoplamps and Back-up Lamps Hatchback

To replace a taillamp, turn signal lamp, stoplamp, or back-up bulb, do the following:

1. Open the trunk or liftgate. See Trunk or Liftgate for more information.

Hatchback





Sedan




2. Remove the two screws and the lamp assembly.
3. Remove the bulb socket by turning it counterclockwise.
4. Remove the bulb from the socket by pressing the bulb and turning it counterclockwise.
5. Install the appropriate bulb into the socket.
6. Replace the bulb socket into the lamp housing. Turn the bulb socket clockwise to secure.
7. Reverse Step 2 to reinstall the lamp housing.

Taillamps, Turn Signal, Stoplamps and Back-up Lamps Sedan

To replace one of these bulbs, do the following:

1. Open the trunk. See Trunk for more information.
2. Open the trim cover.



3. Remove the bulb socket by turning it counterclockwise.
4. Remove the bulb from the socket by pressing the bulb and turning it counterclockwise.
5. Install the appropriate new bulb into the socket.
6. Reverse Steps 1 through 4 to install the lamp assembly.

To replace one of these bulbs, do the following:

1. Open the trunk. See Trunk for more information.
2. Open the trim cover by releasing the clip at the top of the cover.




Stoplamp/Taillamp

Turn Signal Lamp

Back-up Lamp

3. Remove the bulb socket by turning it counterclockwise.
4. Remove the bulb from the socket by pressing the bulb and turning it counterclockwise.
5. Install the appropriate bulb into the socket.
6. Replace the bulb socket into the lamp housing. Twist the bulb socket clockwise to secure.
7. Close the trim cover.
