Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1469645 Size: SH
  1. Partially remove and lower the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sunshade motor right rear.
  3. Remove the screws from the sunshade motor.
  4. Pulling straight down to disengage the drive gear from the cables.
  5. Remove the sunshade motor from the sunroof module.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1469645 Size: SH
  1. Position the sunshade motor to the sunroof module to the roof.
  2. Push the sunroof motor straight upward to engage the drive gear between the cables.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the sunroof motor screws.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical connector to the sunshade motor right rear.
  5. Raise and install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  6. Initialize/teach the sunroof motor. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
  7. Inspect the sunshade for proper operation.
