Tools Required

J 45265 Bushing Remover/Installer

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.



3. Remove the upper control arm to knuckle nut and bolt.
4. Separate the upper control arm from the knuckle.



5. Using the J 45265 , remove the upper control arm bushing from the knuckle assembly.

1. Using the J 45265 , install the upper control arm bushing into the knuckle assembly.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




2. Install the knuckle assembly into the upper control arm.

Tighten
Tighten the upper control arm to knuckle bolt to 160 N·m (118 lb ft).

3. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
4. Lower the vehicle.
