Removal Procedure

  1. Position the window to the full down position.
  2. Notice: To avoid paint damage, protect the area surrounding the part which you are removing or installing.

  3. Apply masking tape to the door frame applique/run channel.

  4. Object Number: 799079  Size: SH
  5. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  6. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  7. Remove the window belt outer sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  8. Remove the rear door stationary window bolt (2).
  9. Remove the rear door stationary window and weatherstrip (1) by grasping the center and pulling downward to release.
  10. Some back and forth movement may be needed.

  11. Remove the rear door stationary window from the door.

Installation Procedure

  1. Apply a small amount of a lubricant on the inside corner of the stationary window rubber channel.

  2. Object Number: 799079  Size: SH
  3. Install the rear door stationary window (1) in the door.
  4. Some back and forth movement may be needed to set the stationary window into the door.

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the rear door stationary window bolt (2).
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  7. Install the window belt outer sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  8. Remove the masking tape.
  9. Inspect the window for proper operation.
  10. Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  11. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
