Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1564039 Size: SH
  1. Lower the door window.

    2. Caution: Refer to Eye Protection Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Drill out the 4 mm (5/32 in) rivets (1) along the upper inside edge of the window run channel.

    3. Lower the window channel weatherstrip by grasping the center and pulling downward to expose the rivets.

  3. Lift one end of the sealing strip.
  4. Carefully pull the sealing strip (2) from the door frame.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1564039 Size: SH
  1. Install the sealing strip (2) by starting at the upper front corner of the rear door window and working rearward and down.
  2. Install the new 4 mm (5/32 in) rivets (1) along the upper edge of the door window frame starting from the front and going rearward.
