Removal Procedure
  1. Position the window to the full down position.

    2. Notice: To avoid paint damage, protect the area surrounding the part which you are removing or installing.

  2. Apply masking tape to the door frame and applique/run channel.

    3. Object Number: 1564035 Size: SH
  3. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement .
  5. Lower the run channel and reposition it in order to access to the applique rivets. Refer to Front Side Door Window Channel Replacement .

    6. Caution: Refer to Eye Protection Caution in the Preface section.

  6. Drill out the 4 mm (5/32 in) rivets (2) along the upper inside edge of the window run channel.
  7. Remove the screws (1) from the of the inside of the door window frame.
  8. Remove the applique (3) from the door frame.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1564035 Size: SH
  1. Install the applique (3) to the front door.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the screws (1) to the inside of the door window frame.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the new 4 mm (5/32 in) rivets (2) along the upper inside edge of the front door window run channel.
  4. Install the run channel. Refer to Front Side Door Window Channel Replacement .
  5. Remove masking tape.
  6. Inspect the window for proper operation.
  7. Install the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement .
  8. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
