---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ABS: Refer to ABS Description and Operation | ||||
| Air Bag: Refer to SIR System Description and Operation | ||||
(Export) BRAKE | Brake: Refer to Brake Warning System Description and Operation | ||||
| Charge: Refer to Charging System Description and Operation | ||||
| Cruise: Refer to Cruise Control Description and Operation | ||||
| Engine Coolant Temperature: Refer to Cooling System Description and Operation | ||||
| Fasten Safety Belt: Refer to Seat Belt System Description and Operation | ||||
| High Beam: Refer to Exterior Lighting Systems Description and Operation | ||||
| The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the engine oil pressure indicator when the powertrain control module (PCM) detects low engine oil pressure, and the signal circuit is low. The PCM sends a GMLAN message to the body control module (BCM) indicating low engine oil pressure. The IPC receives a GMLAN message requesting illumination from the BCM. | ||||
Low Fuel | The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the low fuel indicator when the IPC detects that the fuel level is less than 14 percent. The indicator is an LED on the fuel gage. The IPC receives a GMLAN message indicating fuel level percent from the body control module (BCM). | ||||
| MIL: Refer to Powertrain Control Module Description for the 3.5L engine | ||||
| The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the SERVICE VEHICLE SOON in the following conditions:
| ||||
| Traction Control On: Refer to ABS Description and Operation | ||||
| Traction Control Off: Refer to ABS Description and Operation | ||||
| Turn Signals: Refer to Exterior Lighting Systems Description and Operation | ||||
| The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates vehicle overspeed indicator when the body control module (BCM) detects that the vehicle speed is more than 120 km/h (75 mph). The IPC receives a GMLAN message requesting illumination from the BCM. |

AUTO LIGHTS OFF | Refer to Exterior Lighting Systems Description and Operation |
AUTO LIGHTS ON | Refer to Exterior Lighting Systems Description and Operation |
BRAKE FLUID | |
CHANGE OIL SOON | The driver information center (DIC) illuminates the CHANGE ENGINE OIL message when the powertrain control module (PCM) determines that the engine oil life is 0 percent. The PCM sends a serial data message to the BCM to request the radio to illuminate the CHANGE ENGINE OIL message in the DIC via the GMLAN serial data link. After the oil is changed, reset the engine oil monitor. Refer to GM Oil Life System Resetting . |

DOOR AJAR | |
ENG PWR REDUCED | Refer to Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System Description for the 3.5L engine |
GATE/TRUNK AJAR | |
ICE POSSIBLE | Refer to ABS Description and Operation The radio illuminates the ICE POSSIBLE message when the outside air temperature drops below 2.0°C (36°F). When the temperature rises above 5.5°C (42°F), the ICE POSSIBLE message turns OFF. The radio receives a GMLAN message indicating the outside air temperature from the body control module (BCM). |
