Replacement blades come in different types and are removed in different ways.
Here is how to remove the wiper blade:
- Pull the windshield wiper arm connector away from the windshield.
- Squeeze the grooved areas on each side of
the blade and turn the blade assembly away from the arm connector.
- Install the new blade onto the arm connector
and make sure the grooved areas are fully set in the locked position.

- Lift the wiper arm and turn the blade until is facing away from the windshield.
- Push the release lever under
the windshield wiper arm, and slide the wiper assembly off of the wiper arm.
- Slide the new wiper blade securely on the wiper arm until you hear the
release clip click into place.
