Preliminary Procedures

1. Open the folding top and stowage compartment lid.
2. Only remove the parts that apply to the side being replaced.
3. Remove the rear side weatherstrip retainers. Refer to Folding Top Side Front Weatherstrip Retainer Replacement .
4. Roll the folding top edge back to gain access to the bolts.
5. Remove the cables and spring tension. Refer to Folding Top Cover Side Tension Cable Replacement .

Screws, Bow No. 3 Folding Top (Qty: 2)

Tip
It is necessary to remove the screws from the No. 1, 3, and 4 bows that attach to the side rail, before removing the that is being replaced.

10 N·m (89 lb in)

Nuts, Link Folding Top

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Screws, Rail Side Folding Top Front (Qty: 2)

Tip
Remove the rear lower bolts first, front upper bolts last.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Bolts, Rail Side Folding Top Lower (Qty: 2)

Tip
Transfer all necessary parts.

Tighten
30 N·m (22 lb ft)
