Installation Procedure
Important: When the crossrails are not in use, place the crossrails at the following positions for windnoise reduction. Place the rear crossrail at the rear most point of the vehicle and the front crossrail above the opening of
the rear door.
- Remove the rear end siderail covers. Remove production crossrails, if equipped.
- If thumb wheel and tap plate are not installed, place tap plate in slot on the support. Make sure tap plate points are facing
in towards the thumb wheel. Then insert thumb wheel through hole in support and turn into tap plate. Do not tighten.
- Insert crossrail into siderail and slide into desire position. Make sure arrow on support is pointing forward.
- Tighten the thumbwheel.
- Place cover onto support. Then insert screw through hole and into support.
- Tighten screw with torx head screw driver.
