This bulletin amends service information found in Manual Steering Gear Section 3B2 of the 1989, 1990 and 1991 Geo Metro Service Manual

The J 14859 pinion bearing plug socket has been replaced by the J 39534 pinion bearing plug socket. Use the J 39534 to remove and install the pinion bearing plug on the manual rack and pinion steering gear assembly (Figure 1).
