VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1989 SPRINT/FIREFLY

The following information covers the top tether anchor installation instructions for rear seat application inadvertently omitted from the 1989 Sprint/Firefly Service Manual.

Installation (See Illustration)

1. Determine location of child restraint seat (left or right).

2. Locate top tether anchor plug(s) and remove.

3. Install top tether anchor assembly with 5/16: bolt and torque to specification.
