Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1580955 Size: SH
  1. Remove the fuel sender assembly. Refer to Fuel Sender Assembly Replacement.
  2. Loosen the clamp (2) securing the fuel pump to the fuel sender assembly.
  3. Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector (3).
  4. Remove the fuel pump (1) from the fuel sender assembly.

  5. Remove the fuel pump strainer (1) from the fuel pump (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1580956 Size: SH
  1. Install the fuel pump strainer (1) to the fuel pump (2).

    2. Object Number: 1580955 Size: SH
  2. Install the fuel pump (1) to the fuel sender assembly.
  3. Tighten the clamp (2) securing the fuel pump feed hose to the fuel sender.
  4. Connect the fuel pump electrical connector (3).
  5. Install the fuel sender to the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Sender Assembly Replacement.
