Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1579817 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the four vacuum hoses from the EGR pressure transducer.
  3. Remove the EGR pressure transducer from the retainer.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1579817 Size: SH
  1. Install the EGR pressure transducer (1) to retainer.
  2. Install the four vacuum hoses to the EGR pressure transducer.
  3. Install the negative battery cable.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the negative battery cable-to-negative battery terminal retainer to 15 N·m (11 lb in).
