CLUTCH SHUDDER LAUNCH OR REVERSE

Model and Year 1985 SPRINT

Some early 1985 "M" cars with manual transmissions may exhibit an objec- tionable driveline disturbance due to clutch shudder. The shudder usually occurs during vehicle launch in first or reverse gear and is most notice- able on steep grades.

This shudder condition can be corrected by installing the following applic- able replacement parts on vehicles built prior to the designated V.I.N.'s.

Use applicable Labor Time and Operation Number.
