Model and Year: 1992-93 GEO STORM

SERVICE UPDATE

This bulletin supersedes service information contained in the 1992-93 Geo Storm Service Manuals (ST371-92 and ST371-93, respectively). When servicing the engines or the KD400 3-speed automatic transaxle, do not use RTV silicone sealant GM P/N 1052917 as outlined in the Service Manual procedures. Use Loctite(R)* 599 RTV silicone sealant, or equivalent. When servicing the JF403E 4-speed automatic transaxle, use Loctite(R) 518 gasket maker sealant GM P/N 1052942, or equivalent. Do not use RTV silicone sealant.
