GM Tool Organization DVD Version 8.0
The GM tool organization DVD is an application designed to help GM Dealerships forecast, manage, and inventory special service tools. It allows dealerships to generate tool lists specific to their dealer and contains useful information about most essential
tools, such as pictures, vehicle or component applications and brief tool descriptions.
Short informational videos and supporting tool information documents are also included on the DVD for certain tools. This application also allows a dealership to inventory tools by assigning them to specific locations and/or users.

was labeled version 7.0 and part number J 43921-F. All subsequent versions will be issued under the same parent tool number. The J 43921-G (version 8.0) will be issued and shipped in a few weeks. Each new release contains updated
tool information plus additional videos and documents. |

Key Features of the GM Tool Organization DVD

This feature will allow the dealer to plan on the tools needed when opening a new dealership or adding one or more franchises to an existing dealership.

This feature allows the dealer to view individual Kent-Moore tools within the database. You may display, vehicle applications, drawings, usage, etc.

| • | SI Tool Look-Up:
The SI Tool Look-Up feature will sort tools by Franchise, Model Name, Model Year, and Sub-Section so the technician will know what tools are needed for specific jobs.

| • | Reports:
Reports such as essential tool lists, missing tools, and tools checked out by users can be viewed or printed and used for inventory audits.

Additional Features
| • | Tool Videos:
Several video clips showing the use of key essential tools can be viewed. To view these, go to the tool browser screen and click on the VIDEO button when active. |
| • | Tool Documents:
Supporting documents for certain tools are included. Documents such as service bulletins, instruction sheets, articles, modification forms, material safety data sheets, can be viewed through the Tool Browser
screen. |
| • | Manage Dealer Inventory:
This will allow the dealer to enter and view a list of the dealer's tool inventory, track the location of tools, add new tools to the inventory and delete obsolete tools. |
| • | Manage Tool Users:
The "manage tool users" feature allows the dealer to create new tool users and to edit and delete existing tool users. User titles can also be added to the dealers tool inventory. |
| • | Custom and New Tools:
New essential tools from Kent-Moore as well as other custom (Non-J) tools may be added to the dealer's tool inventory |
| • | Client-Server:
The client/server architecture is available so more than one computer can access the tool information at one time. |
