Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 827787 Size: SH
  1. Use a flat bladed tool and pop the reading lamp lens from the forward console.
  2. Turn the bulb ¼ turn and remove the bulb from the reading lamp socket.

    3. Object Number: 827786 Size: SH
  3. Remove the overhead console.

    4. Object Number: 827784 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the reading lamp.

    5. Object Number: 827779 Size: SH
  5. Remove the lamp socket assembly from the overhead console.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 827779 Size: SH
  1. Fasten the new lamp socket to the overhead console.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).


    Object Number: 827784 Size: SH
  2. Connect the electrical connectors to the reading lamp.

    3. Object Number: 827786 Size: SH
  3. Attach the overhead console to the headliner.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).


    Object Number: 827787 Size: SH
  4. Install the new bulb assembly to the overhead console.
  5. Snap the lens for the reading lamp into place in the overhead console.
