Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 378531  Size: SH
  1. Remove the front nuts (2) on the underside of the seat cushion.

  2. Object Number: 407184  Size: SH
  3. Unsnap the lumbar cable (6), disconnect the lumbar wire harness if equipped with power lumbar.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

  5. Object Number: 378531  Size: SH
  6. Lift the seat cushion up off the rear plastic holders (1) on the underside of the seat cushion, and pull forward.
  7. Remove the seat switch bezel. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Adjuster Switch Bezel Replacement .

  9. Remove the lumbar actuator (5).

  10. Object Number: 386197  Size: SH
  11. Unclip the seat trim cover from the seat cushion frame.

  12. Object Number: 386196  Size: SH
  13. Using a side motion, carefully separate the seat cushion trim cover from the seat cushion pad.
  14. Remove the pad from the seat cushion frame.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the seat cushion pad to the seat cushion frame.

  2. Object Number: 386196  Size: SH
  3. Using a side motion, carefully pull the seat cushion cover onto the frame pad.

  4. Object Number: 386197  Size: SH
  5. Attach the seat trim cover to the seat cushion frame.

  6. Object Number: 407184  Size: SH
  7. Install the lumbar actuator (5).
  8. Install the seat switch bezel. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Adjuster Switch Bezel Replacement .

  9. Object Number: 378531  Size: SH
  10. Place the cushion on the rear plastic holders (1) on the underside of the seat cushion, and push rearward.

  11. Object Number: 407184  Size: SH
  12. Connect the lumbar cable to the underside of the seat cushion (6). Connect the lumbar wire harness if equipped with power lumbar.
  13. Connect the electrical connectors.
  14. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 378531  Size: SH
  15. Install the front nuts (2) onto the studs on the underside of the cushion.
  16. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 21 N·m (15 lb ft).
