Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 833497 Size: SH
  1. Remove the hinge pillar garnish trim. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the bolts that retain the assist handle to the vehicle.
  3. Remove the assist handle from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 833497 Size: SH
  1. Install the assist handle to the vehicle.
  2. Install the bolts that retain the assist handle to the vehicle.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the hinge pillar garnish trim. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 12 N·m (9 lb ft).
