Service VME - Center Console Latch Replacement Part Information

When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

This involves the 2003 H2 Hummer center console latch replacement procedure. From a Warranty Part Center review of returned parts, console lids and console assemblies have been replaced due to a broken latch assembly. In cases where the latch is found damaged, replace the latch only with P/N 88986341 available through the Service Parts Organization.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
