If a customer indicates that they have a rattle in the center console area and the cause is determined to be contact between the shifter handle and the PRNDL bezel, the following repair will correct the rattle.
Place 4 washers, one between each corner of the shifter assembly and the floor pan at the attaching bolts. The P/N of the washer is 15213468, or use an equivalent washer that is approximately 1.3 mm thick. It is not necessary to replace the shifter assembly or any console components. Refer to PI #PIT3515.
