Should you receive a complaint of an underbody snap or pop noise, one probable cause is the underbody protective shielding. Tighten all underbody shielding fasteners prior to attempting any other repairs.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
